Recognizing authentic storytelling.

Variety’s third annual Faith & Media Impact Report recognizes a thriving segment of the entertainment industry that includes storytellers across the religious spectrum who are offering up compelling and creative experiences featuring faith and spirituality for broad audiences.

The list will be comprised of directors, writers, creators, studio executives and more who have made an impact in authentic coverage and storytelling across major world faiths and spirituality over the past year.

Our editorial team will consider content that reflects the depth and breadth of spirituality, spiritual practices, worship and faith traditions without stereotypes or tropes that reinforce stereotypes, representing a wide range of experiences, beliefs and practices among people of faith.

Please note: the list will solely focus on individuals working in film and television.
